Marc by Marc Jacobs Tee Shirts

I was first introduced to this man's designs through my cousin, Claire. Being the previous buyer at MJ, her entire wardrobe overflowed with his collections. And being the awesome, super skinny, model-sized cousin that she was, she often gifted me with clothing that were too big for her. I still remember (and have) the first few shirts she sent me. Their designs and bold colors turned Marc Jacobs into one of my favorite brands in not just clothing, but also accessories, shoes, and of course purses.

EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE... Marc by Marc Jacobs Tee Shirts.

I'm normally a tee-shirt, jeans, and Chucks kind of girl so I do own quite a few MBMJ (Marc by Marc Jacobs) tees. They're super soft, decently priced, and most importantly -- they fit really nicely.

Here are some I picked up this month, all under $20 each -

Slash Tee, $15

Vintage Logo Tee, $18

MAAAARC Jacobs Tee, $18

Newsprint Tee, $18

All are available at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores.

Clarisonic Plus

My first official product post is dedicated to the wonderful piece of machinery that inspired me to start this blog.

EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE... a Clarisonic.

I have a pink Clarisonic plus (Sephora, $225 with kit) and LOVE it to death. I would be lost without it (and probably look years older than I really am). I have it set on the most gentle setting and use it with the sensitive skin brush.

My old skin care regiment involved using a scrub or exfoliator wash and visiting my facialist for an hour once a week. I later changed my facial appointments to once every two weeks when I discovered Aveda's Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser (5 fl oz/150 ml $29.00) . It's not a bad product for those that cannot afford a Clarisonic. Because you only need a little at a time, one tube will last you a few months. PROS: Gentle enough for daily use and minimizes black heads. CONS: Must use a separate facial wash prior to exfoliating (to completely remove make up) and does not help with pore size.

The Clarisonic deep cleans and exfoliates all in one. In ONE minute a day! And the best part? It minimizes pores! I use mine in the shower each night to ensure proper removal of my makeup and a day's worth of stress. I love how soft my skin is now and I haven't been to my facialist in MONTHS! I no longer break out, I can see and feel the cleanliness of my skin, and my pores really do seem tighter. Plus, the Clarisonic is easy to operate, the battery lasts for over two weeks (I don't charge mine every day like what the instructions say to do), and I like that it's pink.

Beauty AND brains. That's a WIN in my book.

Incurable

Hi, my name is Angie and I'm a shopaholic.

I online window shop every day -- if not on my desktop then on my netbook, iPad, and iPhone. More often than not, the Internet wins and forces me (yes, force) to hand over my credit card information. As I always leave my purse [of the week] at random places in the house, I don't always have my cards with me but that's never a huge problem since I have all the digits, expiration dates, and security codes memorized by heart. I can recite them backwards... in my sleep.

Malls are my Disneyland. This last weekend I visited three malls and it's not unusual. I like the feel of colorful shopping bags brushing against my legs as I walk from department to department, store to store. And the even bigger joy is when I bring my new purchases home and introduce them to my life.

Yes, I have a problem. The hubby surely thinks so. Since I know you are also one of the infected (it's why you found me and are reading this now, right?) I am here to share with you. I will post my findings, purchases, and wants. Your credit cards will probably love me and I hope you do too. Hey, we can't beat this thing together anyway so why not just enjoy some nice things along the way? I know you agree.

Without further adieu, here is the start of a continuous list of THINGS EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE...
